Of the 129,735 citizens living in Washington County in 2021, 83.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 108,487 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 52,218 were male, constituting 48.1%, and 56,269 were female, making up 51.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Washington County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 80.5%.
