This is the third highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Rhode Island post-secondary schools during 2022.

Newport County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $41,766 on average in Newport County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $31,029.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
